If you really like the dress and you think you could wear it to other special occassions, go for it! Why not make your prom special? It only comes once in a lifetime. Have fun!

Only idiots with parents who don't have the spine to say "NO" would waste that kind of money on a prom dress.

Jeepers, I only paid $400 for my wedding dress and today people still tell me how great I looked. Prom and weddings are fun, but are ONLY ONE DAY. You'd be better off saving or investing your money.

Hell no! I wouldn't pay that much for ANYTHING. My prom dress is one-of-a-kind because I made it myself for $40.

I would for my senior year, going to be a junior next year, because it's your last time to dress up like that in front of your peers and look your best. :D
