judge on people's character?

In the real world I think I can pick them pretty good if I know them well enough but even then you get this feeling as well

Sometimes--but I have to get to know the person a little at least before I can make an informed judgment.

I'd say yes. Although, as I've gotten older, I will give someone more time than I would have when I was younger.

I'm usually the lawyer for the defendant and ended up I'm fighting a case for the bad guy........sigh*
