Weird but, I kind of feel sorry for her. At first I thought that she really deserved her jail sentence, but does anyone really deserve to go through what happened to her over the past week.

Hmmmmm..... ok I see all of your points. I am no longer feeling very sorry for her. very Very very true. I really dont think I would have had a second chance if I were in her shoes. I also think that valuable tax payers dollars are being wasted for a very expesive example.Thank you all..

For those who feel sorry for her, don't. Don't lose sight as to why she ended up where she did
She was busted for driving DRUNK. It was sheer dumb luck that she did not hit or hurt anyone.
Then she did not just violate probation once, or twice, it was THREE times in 3 months.
Then instead of taking responsibility for her actions, it was her publicists' fault , not hers
Even after knowing that she was in it up to her neck, she shows up to court LATE.
Then she claimed she wanted to take responsibility but not even 2 days later, her personal shrink was complaining about her " medical condition". Please, her medical condition was the reality check of facing the consequences of violating probation.
Everyone who has commented on how harsh the sentence has, forgotten the number of probation violations she had. .
Her early release with electronic monitoring was a direct violation of the judges orders, so she should have gone back to jail.
The only thing I disagreed with was the fact that they handcuffed her for the ride to the courthouse, that was unnecessary
Other people face the mental breakdown in jail, when the reality hits of being behind bars, being isolated from friends and family and if this was any other person, their butt would have been taken to the jail infirmary to serve their time there, not be let out for a " medical condition"

Dont feel sorry for her, in the scheme of things, it will end up being the best thing that could have happened to her.

Oh she is in the pits of hell now no doubt about it...by comparison to what her life was she is literally being stripped to the core and re-manufactured.

She'll never be the same, but with any luck she will part of the human race at long last and will never forget what "real" people have to endure.

It's an awakening for her...she is just a spoiled baby...crying for mommy...how embarrassing and sad...she's 27 don't forget but she may as well be 10 years old and that's giving credit to most 10 year olds.

She is scared sh*tless but hey, this is all part of God's plan for her, and as I said, in the end, maybe the best thing that could have happened to her.

DONT FORGET, there are mothers, brothers, sisters, fathers, walking around this planet mourning for people they've lost due to drunk drivers.

The law, if it was taken seriously, would have dealt with these people the first time, harshly, and not have given them the opportunity to go out there a second time, and KILL someone.

Someone always has to die before anythign is taken seriously, and that's not right.

Paris broke the law THREE TIMES...three times she drank and drove, twice with a suspended licence.

That ***** can afford a 24 hour limo so why is she driving?

Who knows if she deserves it or it was fair. She did the crime got caught and has to do her time. She had a total meltdown when confronted with the strict reality of the judge this week instead of being allowed to weasel out rich aristocrat style. She will have a better life than all the bleeding heart fools who feel sorry for her. She'll be more careful behind the wheel of that fancy car next time and that's good for everyone.

She was caught drunk driving and had the sentence reduced to endangerment. Then she drove not once but twice on a suspended license. Then she blamed this fact on everybody and his brother without taking any personal responsibility. Then she used her wealth to get a ticket out of jail. Regardless of the physical or psychological illness she claims to have, there are hundreds of other people in jail who are in similar if not worse circumstances. There is no leniency for them. Then she playacted her way in court-messy hair, no make up, "Mommy, Mommy". (The people who should be most ashamed are her parents for raising a child with such a sense of entitlement.)
Ultimately the question is whether she EVER took responsibility for the drunk driving. She might as well have been drunk and waving a loaded gun around. As far as I can tell, she never did and therefore the chances of her doing it again (and again and again) are huge. Anyone who feels sorry for her never knew someone killed or maimed by a drunk driver. Time for Paris to grow up.

If it had been you or me, we would have had no choice but to go to jail and do our time....sick or not. I am just tired of seeing the law apply only to those who are not rich and famous. She should have stayed there once she started her sentence. 23 days isn't that terrible and she was in a special unit used only for public figures and celebrities. She was in a cell alone so she didn't have to fear anyone else. I think she laughed at the legal system and thought because of who she is she could do whatever she felt like doing. That's just wrong! She could have hurt herself or someone else driving drunk. She was given several chances and she ignored the law. I think she deserves to do her month in jail just like everyone else.

I don't feel sorry for her one bit. She did wrong and needs to do the time just like other people do. I'm so sick of celebrities getting special treatment, it's not right
