I was on the metro/tube the other day and I was wearing my menstrual cup. I was standing up, and there was a sudden jolt which caused my menstrual cup to fall out (I do not wear panties so that I can get quick and easy access).

My cup had fallen into another passengar's back pack - I noticed the trace of blood. I retrieved the cup and assisted this man to wipe the top of his bag. However, the contents of my cup had spilt all over the contents of his bag.

I said sorry and then got off at my stop.

If you were in my position, would you have offered to pay for his bag?

I'm not sure if this is a true story or something made up for shock value, because if you were truly wearing a menstrual cup and it was inserted correctly there is no amount of jolting that could make it fall out. Quite frankly, it is quite a challenge to remove those when inserted.

With that said, yes you should have offered to pay for the bag. Blood is not something easily removed from an article like a backpack.

Yes, you should have made the offer to buy him a new bag. In future it would be wise to wear panties during that time of the month, at least a thong. That way if you get a sudden jolt on the metro/tube again, there will something there to stop your cup from falling out.

I think ideally i would have asked if there was anything i could do to rectify the problem but i would have probably been soooo embarrassed that i wouldn't have known what to say.
I thought that moon cups weren't supposed to fall out that easily?

I saw you earlier post about being picked on for discussing menstrual subjects.

You ever wonder to yourself "Hey they are right, I am strange".

No, you shouldn't have offered to pay, I'm sure all he wanted was to get out of there as fast as possible.

This was about the sickest story that I've heard lately.
Glad these cup things are not popular where I live.
