Why do people drive on a parkway and park in a driveway? Showing 1-10 of 33,400
As you see, it's been asked and answered a few times already.
The answer? Sure. The same reason people sit in stands.

Believe it or not the first parkways were roads built through a park, so that motorists could drive their cars on decent roads and their passengers could enjoy the scenery. A proper parkway has landscaped or natural surroundings. They were intended as scenic drives.

If you park on my driveway I might key your paint - unless of course you are just visiting.

It's all part of a conspiracy to confuse people and weaken their minds enough to be easily hypnotized by an evil organization who wants to rule the world.
Stop And Go stuff is the same. You don't stop and go. 1st you go, then you stop. It's all the same thing. Their methods of confusing hypnosis is everywhere. We're doomed, I tell you. Doomed!
