It seems to have some flower buds on it now that are not shown in the photos which can be seen at,

I'd love to know what kind of plant this is, can anyone help me?

I added a couple more photos that show the buds opening up. They look almost like the flowers on a Peace Lily.

It is some kind of rubber type plant such as a rubber tree variation .

I am certain this is a aglaonema, There are several different varities of these and I believe yours is a Ribbon Aglaonema. Being a retired florist I have seen many of these and I would have sold it in my shop as a Ribbon Aglaonema.

From looking at your pictures, I thought that it was perhaps a dieffenbachia (dumb cane). Are the flowers kinda like the blooms on a calla, but more narrow? If they are, I'd bet it was a dieffenbachia...
