I am usually knowledgeable about stuff, but not so much when it comes to ping and stuff.

Is 6337 kbps download speed and 356 kbps upload speed good? The reason I ask is I have been playing online lately and it just seems off for some reason. I have Comcast also.

6Mb/s down is very good, 356kb/s up is a bit slow tho.......

Double check your speeds at the site below.

Well, it depends on the kind of internet connection you have...ADSL, Cable, Leased line.... All of these sorts of internet technologies do have very nice and fast connections but there is a factor of number of users using the same branch. For example, when talking about cable internet that it could be better than ADSL, but as much users of the same branch connect at the same time, each one gets less internet speed at the moment. Leased line gives you always the same speed but is the most expensive and I don't think that this is your kind of connection because this is usually for companies and not SOHO users. At last, ADSL is good connection too, but the connection speed depends of the packet paid, and also there is possibility there more or less but fixed number of users do use the same branch which depends on the aggregation factor! You should maybe call your ISP and check if there are some problems with your connection or there are some technical problems on their side. It is not unusual to find out that they are "working on something" and that this causes problems with your connection. Just check it out if you have already checked that everything is plugged in OK at your modem side. Regards!

That sounds normal for cable internet these days.
If you just seem to be slow on some online games,, it could just be the game server load.
