I posted my resume to career builder. I am getting swamped with offers from companies overseas looking for "accounting managers" to handles payments. It sounds like a scam, does anyone know or have any experience with this? They usually say they need someone to cash checks nad then wire money. I am sure it has to be a scam, just wondering if anyone had any experiences with this?

Dear friend, everytime you receive an email that you think might be scam but you are not sure, copy the subject or some parts of the text of the message and Google it. Then you will see how many other people got the same thing and if people are talking about it as a scam. I do that and it works real well. Then you will be sure.
But to answer your question, yes those are definitely scams. If you look, the job descriptions are very general. Most of the time they have nothing to do with your background and it's always mysterious email.
Good luck :)

Just ask yourself, Why would a business need me to cash their checks for them? and also why they would spend the money to wire it back to them.

I am surprised you are even asking about these scams.
If you have their e-mail address, you can block these offers from Yahoo! Mail.
