I think trent green could help the miami dolphins just for this season. I say he could help the dolphins because, it all depends on if he stays healthy and plays well. If he plays well I could see the dolphins going 10-6 or 9-7 and possibly in contention for a wildcard spot in the AFC. If he doesn't then they're in trouble the QB situation is in shambles if he goes down or doesn't play well. I could see them going 6-10 or 7-9 if that happens. One last thing, the dolphins defense is pretty solid and underrated. The secondary needs to improve though, and getting Joey Porter will prove to be a waste because he will not perform well in the 4-3 scheme because basically all he is a glorified defensive end, he's only good at rushing the passer.

No, not at all. Culpepper can obviously scramble better, but Trent Green is the better QB. Since 2001 when he became a Chief, the only 2 QBs that have put up better numbers than green are Brett Favre and Peyton Manning. And he's done all that with no big time WR. All the guys he's had to throw to (with the exception of Tony Gonzalez) would be #3 recievers on most any other NFL team. Oh yeah, any QB taking snaps in the NFL is one hit away from retirement and Green is healthier now than Culpepper is.

Trent Green is at the end of his career. Maybe 2 years left. He's not a long term answer. At best he is a care taker for a younger QB. A show them the ropes before you move on type of guy. That doesn't mean he can't help Miami, just that he's not going to be there a long time. If Green has the time he can still be a very good QB. Age and injuries are catching up to him though. Why else would KC part with him for a 5th round pick. Why else would they want to go with a younger QB.

He can help alittle, he is not the complete answer though. If you think about it the team still has a need at WR and TE. Its true that they needed a QB and Trent Green can decently fill that vacancy but they still need guys that Green can throw to. The already have the RBs to run so that should help as well. This team is a AFC East contender.

No help whatsoever. He's an aging QB that needs a walker to get on the field. Plus they signed Joey Porter who's pretty much a clown one day and a thug the next. The Dolphin's have a sorryass team

Not the kind of help they need. They need an oline and dline. some help in the secondary... Ronnie Brown is not at his full potential yet and chris chambers under produced last year. so trent green for a year isnt the answer..

A player who will be 37 by the beginning of the season, suffered a serious concussion, has never returned to his old form since then and lost the starting spot to Damon Huard.....no, he won't provide much help.
