how do you make iron on letters or anything else without the excess white paper showing up on your shirt? do you have to cut every letter out? I know you can buy letters but I would like to make them from my computer in different fonts and even make other logos and print them out but I don't want to have to cut out everything and especially small letters. am I just buying the wrong paper or can I buy paper that only I print the ink on is what comes of on the shirt.? i am trying to start making bulk orders and need some help please?

Try the fabric store instead of the craft store. They have some paper and software for making quilt labels and such that will make only the ink you print transfer to your shirts. This will eliminate the excess "white shadow" from being ironed on to your garment.

You can buy T-Shirt Transfer sheets... and then search for letters on your computer or buy a CLIP-Art CD to download letters or whatever you want...Follow the direction on the T-Shirt pkg to reverse the printing for iron-on. this means setting your printer for reverse printing... Follow the directions carefully...You can have a lot of fun doing this..After a while you find that you can be very creative...

If you are really planning bulk orders have the shirts printed professionally. They have the machinery and the knowledge.
Alternatively you can use an on-demand-printer (like CafePress) if you want to run small series only.
Google (or use Yahoo Search) for "on demand printing" t-shirts for more info and companies who offer such services.
I'm in no way related to CafePress it is named as an example only

As far as I know, you have two choices - you can do them on the computer and cut them out or you can buy the die-cut letters from the craft stores. Making bulk orders either way would probably not be profitable.
