Why do people point to their wrist when asking for the time, but don't point to their crotch when they ask where the bathroom is?

My son does, but he's 23 months old. I guess there aren't many other parents who care about teaching their kids about how to properly use sign language the way I teach my son. That's what is wrong with the world today, not enough pointing to the crotch when you gotta go and way too much wrist pointing which in my mind is an overrated move.

same reason they dont point to thier butt's when they want to sit down or need to use the bathroom
