The judge did what he is suppose to do, he handed down a sentence. Given the fact she has a horrible driving record and she violated her probation twice, his sentence was appropriate and within the law for someone who shows no remorse and shows a disregard for the law.
Paris Hilton's lawyers have been trying to manipulate the legal system to get her released and they found help with the Sheriff who violated a court order.
The judge had no choice but to send her back.

You have to keep in mind that some judge's in California are elected official and showing a soft spot for celeb could prevent people from voting for you, furthermore we have to make for example that these young girl celeb are not above the law and that drinking and driving is completely wrong. Now just imagine if she did kill someone and this judge let her off with a slap on the wrist. There be a out cry for justice through out the country and a bad example for the judicial system in the state of California against celeb who drink and drive.

No way. The queery, drama-queen judge in the Baby Dannielynn Smith custody case was looking for fame.
This judge is actually doing his job and letting Paris off slightly easy at the same time. I don't even know what he looks like. I applaud him.

Huh? looking for fame? If he was he would have cameras in the courtroom and be vying for face time, just like the judge in the Anna Nicole Smith case. No, this guy just sounds like he is doing his job and as with the rest of us, getting SICK of celebrities!!

to suggest that the judge is looking for fame is just bullsh--it
tyhe fact of the matter is --- he ( the judge ) had made a decsion and it should be respected --- to questions asked
as far as paris hilton goes --- she commited a crime and was covicted as such and should serve out her sentence -- as such !!! otherwise everyone can commit a crime and go go home and put their feet up . !

I think he and the Sherriff will pay for their choices in the matter.. The Sherriff is done for letting her out.. The judge did the right thing by ordering her to jail the first time, but should have never put her back in after her release. He's going to pay for that... Not that everyone isn't happy about it, but it was wrong to screw with someone that way emotionally..

I think he grabbed his balls, acted like a man, and dealt out some much needed celebrity justice.
Mans a freaking American hero. If that makes him famous, so be it. At least he'll have earned it, unlike Hilton.

No, but he probably does not want to look like a fool. If he wanted fame he would allow cameras in the courtroom.

no, if this was a situation where he would normally be leniant on someone, he'll be thought of as someone who'll let celebrities get away with anything, if this is a situation where he is normally hard on someone, then in this case he's going to be said to be overcompensating because she's a celebritity, it's a lose lose situation for him, atleast he is sticking to his decision.
