well... i doubt its going to happen soon anywhere. over here it is legal for anyone to get maried to the same sex. Inluding the Crown Prince, however (ommitting th fact that he married in 2002) the pariament has to give permission for the person he is going to marry. if they dont, and he does marry a guy, he vacates succession and will never be king.

Parliament here is about 60% christian, and they will mostlikely never sign on the idea for 2 reasons: the lack of a legitimate air. (decendant of the king born in a legitimate marriage). Adn their so called 'morals and values.'

plus the royal family here is very religious. so i itll happen. oh ps, being gay is genetic, and most royal families are inbred decreasing the probability of a gay offspring.

in short...
hell be nothing, a normal citizen since hell have to vacate the throne.

would the marriace be alowed... hed be a prince.
the order of rank is:
King Queen Prince Princess (the king needs to be highest in rank, his male spouse would not get the title of king, so he would skip queen and go for prince)

In the past, such a person (while not legally married, of course) was referred to as the king's favorite. I suspect that would work well enough. Or perhaps the generic "consort" would be used.

You are not allowed to be gay if you are in the british royal family. Just ask Edward.

BTW, a king's gay spouse would be called the 'queen consort'

;-).
