Selling Muffins for Money?(Please answering!)?

I'm thinking about selling Muffins and stuff on the street for money. It's for my Culinary School. But I never selling food on the street.


I know about bakings but I don't know anything about selling stuff. Where Should I sell, What time is the best, What kind of things makes people want it...

I have some few ideas.
I think park is the best place to sell. College is good too.
And I think Smell of muffins can arrest attention.
So I come with the Idea. The Smelly muffin. It's only for presentation. Put a lot of coconut extract and chocolate in chocolate muffins and presented. It taste sucks but smells incredibly strong and good so It can makes people hungry for muffins. Or I can melting chocolate while I'm selling.

So far So good. You guys have any idea or adivce? Please give me something. I'm desperate.

You have to have permits to sell on the street so that will be your next move.
Also, I would target the downtown area where people are walking the street or getting off the bus to get to work so this means you will have to get up super early to bake your goods, then get on those streets around 7ish am to 9ish am
They have money, they are in a rush and most likely didn't have breakfast.
Another idea is to get a basket and go around to different office buildings, car dealerships, schools and apt./daycares to offer up your goodies.
I hope you don't plan on calling your muffin business "Smelly Muffin"??? you might want to rethink your name.
You could sell other items in your basket as well like juices, cinnamon rolls, and mints/gum items maybe even magazines.
Too get the smell to come out for people to want their crave going on I would try different things like soaking tea towels in extract, let them dry and see if they have a smell or get some fragrant sticks to put between your basket and liner you use to set the items on to give a nice presentation.
Another deal is go into apartments and ask if they would like you to stand outside the gate to give people breakfast on the go when they are driving off to work. You could charge them a certain fee to cover your time and the ingred.; most apartments like to do things for their residence but don't always have the time or resources so this would be a great market to start. Who knows they may ask you to cater a full brunch one weekend.

I'd suggest that you check with the various city departments that regulate the selling of food, on the streets. And if the taste of the muffins really "sucks", then check out some insurance as well for people who complain about being sickened by your muffins.

What I know about appetite is that when the alky bums or drug ridden poor slink to some nook near the food bank or street kitchen where they recieved free food one of the donations they'll stomp on or feed to the pigeons is muffins.
Suggest the reader proffer king size cookies. These are the
things that our bottom feeders will fight for.
