Ron Paul is the best chance the republican's have to win. Anyone else will be destroyed in debate's. People have to ask why do so many republican's despise Ron Paul? I will tell you, he has never voted to raise his wage's in office, he has voted against the patriot act, the war in Iraq and does not participate in the congressional pension fund. So he stick's out like a turd in a punch bowl among his party member's. I like the man, I like his idea's and where he thinks this country needs to go. Take your independent study and throw it in the trash ok, if you want to bash this man I suggest you hear him speak and listen to what he has to say THEN make up your own mind. Never believe everything you read about political candidate's that would make you a special kind of retard. TY GG!
Rudy cruising to victory, ya I can see it now. He will be dressed in drag and have a few of his mistress's in tow. Ya I can see that happening. No way in hell will Rudy win noway.

It's a longshot, but looking more realistic every day.

Actually, as a Ron Paul supporter, I'd much rather see him go up against Hillary Clinton. She'll never pull the mainstream conservatives, but Dr. Paul can pick up the anti-war folks among Democrats who realize that Hillary hasn't been consistent on getting us out of Iraq.

It could happen. People forget about another candidate who used to internet to propell himself as a front runner and that was Howard Dean. I believe Ron Paul would beat Obama in an election

I'd say about 10%. I'd estimate a 20% chance of Obama getting the Democrats' nomination and 50% chance that Rudy will win win the Republican nomination, which will prompt Ron Paul to quit the Republican party, run as the Libertarian and thus face Obama in the general election albeit from a third party candidacy.

Then Rudy will cruise to victory as those two split the anti-defense department vote and Rudy will take all the votes of people who like they're candidate to have the right kind of experience and leadership credentials. I really hope this scenario plays out.

According to NFLsystems, they show Ron Paul as having the most betting upside of any candidate on either side. I don't see him getting there unless the establishment falls asleep. Ron Paul's campaign is growing but he sure needs money to compete with the corporate-backed candidates and the biased media's snub. His stands on the issues are so common sense- based that it makes him stand out from the pack in the minds of people who are actually not narrow-minded or afraid to look at what he is actually standing for and what his integrity is. Obama is too inexperienced... simply scary to think about him in the White House, but he has charisma and a following. I'd say the chances are 1%-2%.

Ron Paul has about as much chance as I do for being the next president. Have you seen a independent research of him ? Lip service and reality are different.
