Autumn (also known as fall in North American English) is one of the four temperate seasons. Autumn marks the transition from summer into winter. In the northern hemisphere, the onset of autumn is generally considered to be around September.
Astronomically, some Western countries consider autumn to begin with the September equinox (around September 23) ending with the December solstice (around December 21) .
On the other hand, meteorologists count the entire months of September, October and November as autumn.

Fall is defined as the period between the autumnal equinox and the winter solstice. And it is the same no matter where you are on the northern hemisphere, it is not bounded by the US border. Only the local time will change, because of the time zone.
See link to find out when as a function of where you live.

Since we are in the Northern Hemisphere our fall is about late September to late November. Of course there are all sorts of regional differences as you go North to South.
