1. Mathematics and logic

2. Physical Sciences

3. Life Sciences

4. Social Sciences

1. Mathematics and Logic enables scientists to prepare exact statements of their finding and theories and make numerical predictions about what will happen in the future. Logic provides the basis for all scientific reasoning.

2. Physical Science examine the nature of the universe. It is a study of the structure and properties of nonliving matter from tiny atoms to vast galaxies; this includes astronomy, chemistry, geology, meteorology and physics.

3. Life Sciences are two main field, botany and zoology. Botany deals with plants and zoology with animals. Many of the branches, such as anatomy and physiology overlap to the study of medicine.

4. Social Sciences deal with individual groups that make up human society. It focus on human relationships and interactions between individuals and their families, religious or ethnic communities, cities, government and other social groups.

Like many others ... usually indifference. Maybe some shock if it comes from someone I've never heard use it before --- or someone who doesn't look as though they'd use it ... Crude language has become so mainstream (TV, movies, books ... everywhere), that I don't think many people even hear it any more. It's as though it is part of Webster's Dictionary and what's-his-name's Thesaurus. I don't think I know anyone who never uses it ... though some are more polite than others in regard to who they use it in front of (might watch out for young kids and old ladies).
