some media don't display on my computer, like videos, audio, chat box and even my yahoo messenger.. i opened the link to download the latest flash player..it says that if an info bar appears on the screen, click it to install the player, but there's no info bar appearing.. why is that? what can i do?

please help and thanks for all those who'll answer!

Assuming you are in the administrator account, first check Add/Remove Programs to see if you have Adobe or Macromedia Flash installed. If yes uninstall them using the new Uninstaller provided by Adobe and reboot (some computers require a reboot to completely uninstall programs)

Then try to download the Flash player again from the following site:

However, it has been reported that some people are having issues downloading the full version directly from Adobe. If that is the case, you may want to try to download it as a standalone.

Ignore the warning message and download the player from the original Flash web site.

That's just Internet Explorer being paranoid.

its not macromedia any longer its Adobe Version: 9,0,45,0
while your at the site get the shockwave player too cheers
dont dnload stuff from unknown 3rd party sites when you can go to the source for free!
