i think that she deserved her whole 23 day sentence if not the 45 day one. Just because she is a celebrity and is always treated like a god, doesn't mean that she can get out of jail after only 3 DAYS!!!!! She shouldn't get any other special treatment just because shes rich and famous. Tell me what you think!!!!!!!!!

OK, I'll bite and give you my feelings on this one. It's true that many have 'gotten off' of DUIs with a slap on the wrist, but young Hollywood is getting out of control. Lindsay, the real criminal here, is falling off the radar screen.

Unfortunately, Paris Hilton was the person who was chosen to teach young Hollywood, the judge might have made her the poster child; she's least prepared for it, than anyone I can imagine. Heck, Brittney could have handled it better.

But Paris did thumb her nose at the judicial system, which is why I think she's going back. Thumbed her nose not once, but MANY times. What kind of punishment is it to be under 'house arrest" in her mansion for 40 days?

Contrite though she may be, there could easily have been fatalities with the DUI, and then would poor Paris be? Let her sort out her troubled soul in a solitary cell. Would like to see what kind of stunt she'll pull next.

Of course, going to jail is angst producing and I'm sure many have anxiety attacks. But they deal with it, and grow up in the process. But Paris is the self-proclaimed prom queen and that wouldn't do! She doesn't know how to deal with anxiety and panic. Let her learn.

The fact that she screamed, not once, but several times, when given her sentence; and screamed for mommy dearest, speaks volumes about this pampered and spoiled little rich girl. I do feel sorry for her, but it wasn't ME who broke the law.

She maybe be rich but I believe the term is infamous now.
I also believe, that those gals who have made themselves into P.H. clones, will soon be acting and dressing a bit different too. The comments will be too much for them to bear. Hopefully they will learn to just be themselves-or not. Time will tell.
I feel she should get the same treatment as other offenders.
As for the home confinement-that was a joke. They were (or had) going to have a party and get a real laugh over her new ankle bracelet and snub their nose at the law-Back fired big time.
I hate to think of the backwash this will have over the rest of the country. Those that get caught breaking the law will have every lawyer in the country working overtime to keep their feet out of jail. Ms Brat has started a landslide,

I thinks its totally right that she's in jail. The whole things just a farce. Should have been locked up straight after sentencing for the full 45 days. It would have prevented the media circus in between sentencing and jail actually starting.

ps She's a total waste of oxygen.

If she would have followed the law she wouldn't be in this position. People around her are telling her they will get her off, they will not actually put her in jail, etc. She needs *****-slapped. She has no redeeming qualities and until she sees that she is a nothing in this world, she will continue to attend the school ofhard knocks.

HELLO THERE MISSY SWIM,
I feel that justice has been served by re-locking her back up
again....It was completely unfair for her to have been released in the 1st place. The Sheriff's office was totally wrong to have released her in the 1st place. If she does, in fact, really have a severe medical condition then she can be put into custody at a local hospital, chained to her hospital bed while she is receiving treatment for whatever it is that is bothering her......otherwise, I feel she should remain in jail and serve her sentence the way she should to begin with.

It's good since she did the crime and should do the time. She should get off her high horse, do the time and go on with her life like Martha Stewart and Lil Kim did! She should not receive special treatment!

I think its ridiculous that she's back in jail. An ankle bracelet would have been suffice. They let murderers go out there but they put someone in jail for driving on a suspended license? Even the woman who killed her Preacher husband is only getting 30 days! You may not like Paris and she does need to grow up but fair is fair.
