Yes it does. Not only was the story great, but the book was incredibly well-written.

I loved this book; couldn't put it down. I also liked Clavell's "King Rat", but I just couldn't warm up to "Nobel House" and stopped reading Clavell.

yes it does I loved it I read the whole thing . I like james clavell .

It is not one of my favorite books because it is all plot and little else. However, as light engrossing reading it IS fun. I enjoyed it very much. My problem with Clavell is his terse, throwaway endings.

Great book, but I was disappointed when it ended. I felt the book could've been twice as long.
