You say "you hear drops of water" is it maybe the water pipes expanding and contracting as they're being used?
You can experience the same thing, a sound like water dripping, when the water is turned on, the pipes expand and contract, especially if it's the hot water being used.
The house, during a time when everyone seems to be gone, sometimes takes on a life of it's own, sounds that you don't normally hear. Your more aware of sounds the house makes when your alone.
If you don't see water spots or water pooling on the floors, I wouldn't worry to much.

simply add 1Kg cement with 5 litre water and mix properly and throw mixture on effected part and if possible use broom to spread and if possibleadd mixture with any waterproofing agent easily avilable in market
Note: for proper mixture refer packet of water proofing chemical
