First off, Batman and Spider Man are two separate comics companies. They meet in a non-canon series known as DC vs Marvel. Another series is Superman/Batman, which is exactly what it sounds like. Other heroes frequently enter the series, however. DC's "Brave and the Bold" is the current series featuring a different team-up every story (not issue, as there have been several arcs). Another is "World's Finest," which was where Batman and Superman met for the first time in comics (in 1956 or '57)! Not sure on Marvel's team-up series. Check Wikipedia.
