One the reasons to have low self-confidence is because of what other people tell you.

Sometimes your clothes look good, and someone says, "eewww...you wore that"

Sometimes you make a little mistake and people laugh.

For self-confidence you have to find ways to work out if you really are good or not. That is, get the opinions of people you trust or don't listen to people who are against you.

Also, when it comes to speaking, spend some time thinking about what you want to say.

When I was very shy, I would always think in my head what I could say. Then later, on other occasions I would say it. I went for the funny comments and knew when I made people laugh. So I could get immediate feedback (even though some losers would say I wasn't funny, there were many people laughing, so who do I listen to).

Just keep trying, little by little. Make mistakes, learn from them. When you do something stupid, it is not the end of the world. If people make fun of you and you get upset, they will keep on about it. If you ignore them, or just take in your stride, they will move on to something else.

- Surround your self with succesful people
- If someone does or say something that hurts you, don't let it hold you back or put you down...learn forgivenes
- Always talk your heart out, join a discussion, and ask questions; never get shy...at first you will do alot of mistakes, so you will have to learn from your mistakes.
- Join your area Toastmaster Club...very very helpful

Think that were all the same, if there's something that you don't know or something you can't do, you can also do it, it's just that you don't push too hard...
