i work in a factory, and i work 3 shifts days, nights and afternoons, i am on £5.80 p/h for that and the company don't pay shift allowance as 19years ago some people (who do not work there anymore) signed an agreement saying that they are willing to give up the shift allowance instead of something else (i don't think it was to do with money) so as there are no members of staff there anymore who signed that contract can we force the company to scrap it, because bringing £180 p/w home is crap for three shifts, p.s i live in the UK

You can't force your employer to do anything, as long as they are complying with the law. You are being paid the National Minimum Wage, so they are not doing anything wrong and you have accepted the job on those terms.
If you want more pay, or a shift allowance, that's something you would have to negotiate and that's where being in a Union helps - collective bargaining. If you are not happy with your Union reps, then take it higher in the Union and make sure they are aware of the feelings of the whole workforce.

Elect new Union Reps.

Better, stand for election yourself.

I assume you are working in a highly competitive industry ... if so, be aware that going on strike to force the Management to pay higher wages could result in them going out of business .. and that paying you higher wages could also kill the business ..

All in all, my approach would be to find another job (where there is the opportunity of some training and more money ...)

To see a tidal wave in your dream, represents an overwhelming emotional issue that demands attention. You may have been keeping your feelings and negative emotions bottled up inside.

To dream that you can create a tidal wave with your mind, is analogous to your ability to control your emotions and keep them in line.
