Hey Buddy,

Why would you do so ? Safe mode is good for troubleshooting but not for ever.

You might see internet faster but many things will not work as many drivers are disabled in Safe Mode like your sound caed, webcam and many more .... would you be happy ?

Better to find the causes for slow machine on your regular windows start up ...

I would be happy to help you out on fixing your machine and it's performance.

Regards
YATIN

If being in safe mode works for you, there's no harm that would come from always using the computer in safe mode. Safe mode just means that Windows won't load most things at startup, including most device drivers and other software. The reason it's running faster is what's not being loaded at startup, which from the sound of it is probably something nasty like a boatload of spyware. While you'd be better off getting the computer cleaned off, possibly even reinstalling Windows, there's nothing wrong with running it in safe mode, except that hardware you attach to the computer might not work properly (or at all) without having the drivers loaded.

The very reason that the mode has been called the safe mode is because it is safe.. lol

But the removable media drives like your cd drive are disabled, the graphics and colors are reduced. Plus in most operating systems the sound and multimedia applications are disabled too. I think it will be much better to find out why your computer is slow in the normal mode rather than run it in safe mode all the time..

you see safe mode faster than normal cuz a lot of stuff don't work with safe mode, safe mode is made by microsoft for trouble,if u have virus or system crash u go to safe mode and solve the problem.

Yeah, but some stuff don't work in safe mode, some devices, drivers etc...

You can use safemode if you want, if you boot it in safe mode correctly and not by restarting the computer over and over again which is bad.

I think safe mode will limit you to very basic usage. Like bad resolution. But if you are happy go with it til you need to change settings or program properties that may require you to have all admin rights.

What a novel idea. Great question !

KISS (keep it simple stupid) lol

If only everyone was so easily pleased, sigh

you can...but not advisable.
It runs faster because in safe mode it runs the bare minimum to make the comuter usable. ie: no anti-virus, no firewall no spyware and alot of other things like video players and music players are not loaded.
