It sounds like you are having Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). I have it too. When traumatic stuff happens.to you. You realize these things really do happen and it is not just a TV show or on the news. And you think it could happen again. And it can cause you to worry so much that you rather die than feel that fear anymore.
You need to talk to a professional therapist and maybe get some medication. Give these things a chance. Also time does heal alot of the anxiety. And if you are overwhelmed by your anxiety and feel like killing yourself. Go to the Emergency Room.
Please take care of yourself. Everything is going to be OK. I promise!

This sounds like definite anxiety attacks. Your emotional state seems to be a direct result of this physical attack on you that may have almost killed you. Your "worries" actually are fears brought on by this horrifying event, and I believe your wanting to alleviate those painful memories, your completing killing yourself. The best way to alleviate these fears is addressing them with your doctor, as soon as possible.

Please see your dr. If you have a very good relationship with your dr they will do all they can to try and help you get the help you need.
I had some issues in 1999 with anxiety and was very bothered by what I was dealing with so I told my favorite dr what was going on and she helped me so much.
If you need help getting to the dr ask one of your most trusted friends to help you get there and you can have them go in with you to the appt as a support system if you want them to.
