one man can do a work in 4 hours another man can do the same work in 6 hours. if both of them do the work together in how many hours they can finish the work

Theoritaclly 5 hours, if half the work is given to each of the workers.
If division is not made, then chances are dely upto 6 hours or more.
One is unity, two are crowd.

10 hours. Between the arguments of what to do first, the long pointless discussions about beer and sports, and the extra coffee breaks, it will take much longer for them to do the work together than if one of them did it alone.

5 hours??? I guess each would finish in half the time so add 2 and 3 and you get 5.....I have no idea really.
