I am a window cleaner and at work one of the things I do is to clean cob web that are around the window frames and that has made me think the other day..When spider man chases someone around the town and jumps from one building to another he uses his special silk and leaves them behind. So who cleans all that mess he leaves behind? I mean New York always looks clean but how? Can anyone answer this little question?

That's the problem with superheroes and celebrities, they never clean up their mess. I guess we have to decide which priority is more important: crime fighting or overtime for the cleaners. Although I suspect that somewhere in the shadows is an unappreciated superwoman cleaning up her man-spider's mess. Real male spiders are eaten alive by the female after they mate. Boy have I just left myself open for comment!

In the original story-line the spider webs with the strength of steel dissolved after a few hours. Sort of a 'bio-degradable' super hero's weapon.

Good question! Spidey does care about his environment. He may go back and clean the buildings himself, after the bad guys are in jail.
