dig soil to a depth of 4 inches
remove all stones
flatten soil base
lay each roll of turf
water thoroughly and don't cut for as long as possible 4 weeks would be ideal

you will need to rotovate it first or dig it over by hand rotorvator is easyer remove all the big stones rake level water the soil the night before lay the turf out stager the joints and tamp down with a scaffold board as you go once it is down try not to walk on it for between 4-6 weeks keep watering it once the sun has gone but try to wait till september before laying lawns dont cut it for at least 6 weeks

contact a garden center or nursery. it will take more than just rolling it out and watering it. you will need to make sure the soil has been amended properly. sod is an expensive investment, so do it right.

grade your area and then place the sod.
Do not overwater but water it and this is getting to be the hottest part of summer
can you delay this till late August.
