.....when there's no question where did the Top Answerer come from?

This is my question: Why should an Asker be...punished by having points removed each time a question is posted???
Would there be any answerer if there was no Asker???
Instead, an Asker should be given 2 point plus, each time he /she posts a question.
I name you one of the Top Askers!!!

The top contributor, I would think, would be both askers and answerer. The top answerer is just the one who has the most answers. Would they just count the number of questions asked. Wouldn't the quality of the questions also be important here.
Who and how would they judge this. The other two can be counted by a computer but for top asker it would take time and a personal touch which I don't think Yahoo is yet willing to invest.

I guess it has to do with the fact that a Top Asker would be loosing points by asking and Top Answerer + Top Contributor is earning points. So, Yahoo!Anwers bothers only with the winners????

If there were such thing as "top asker", do you suppose more serious/less silly questions would be posted or just more questions being asked?
They may consider it or may already have, but it's a good suggestion, nonetheless... maybe they just haven't come around to it yet.

That's a really good question. You can't have a Top Answerer if no one is asking any questions. And some of these questions are really good.

There is no Top Asker my darling because it is so obvious that it would be awarded to you permanently that it would be pointless for anyone else to try to get one.

Yahoo! discriminates people who can ask great. I am top answerer though in the wrestling cat.
