I like Kaya and Kaia (ok with the h but I prefer it without the h) This name was on our short list for our daughter.

KAYA: Baby name books claim this name means "little sister" or "elder sister" in Hopi. This is false. There is no word like this in Hopi, and I suspect this fraudulent name was intentionally made up because of the popularity of a Native American character named Kaya in the "American Girl" series of children's literature. In that book, the real name of the girl in the story was Kaya'aton'my', which means "one who arranges rocks" in Nez Perce. Kaya'aton'my' truly is a real Nez Perce word--the authors did their research! In real life, of course, a Nez Perce girl would never have called herself a nickname that was the first two syllables of her name, but since the target audience of young girls would never be able to remember and read a five syllable name all the time, I can sympathize with the authors' decision.

Its different! But I like it! Rose seems to be one on the most popular picks for middle names these days. Buy it really works with Kayah. I also like noel as a middle name too. Good luck!

personally i believe names mean something so when choosing a name i would google it i just happened to do this your choose kayah only brings up some fugly rock n roll chick and rose is an old chicks name not to mention how the hell would you pronounce kayah sounds like kayak to me which hey who wants their kids to like them and rose is a savage beauty but we all like those mean preppy kids right

I like the "Rose" part. I think if you call her Kayah, though, people are going to CONSTANTLY be asking her how to spell it or pronounce it.

It's a beautiful name, but I would suggest "Kaylah Rose" because it flows more and Kaylah is also a beautiful name in my opinion.
