Does he deserve to stay with the Mavs or go somewhere else?

He is a really good 6th man during his prime he is a starter and no doubt that he can really score the only problem with Jerry is consistency maybe his age is catching up on him, to answer to your question about him being a good 6th man YES HE IS...
He should stay with the Mavs he is not getting any younger and the Mavs future is bright i hope he can get his ring sooner

He is an awesome sixth man. He has a consistent jump shot and range out to the 3-pt line. He can drive at times and plays decent defense. He's had some memorable blocks including in this year's playoffs.
If he is the man coming off the bench for your team, you must have a deep roster. During a couple stretches, he was the only one making shots too. He showed some mental toughness when everyone else on Dallas was in panic mode while playing the Warriors.
I say he is definately worth the mid-cap or a little bit above it at 6.5mil/year.

Jerry Stackhouse is a very good 6th man who could start for many teams. His better days are past him but he is still a capable scorer. He is a bit streaky. In the series verse Golden State he was up and down and showed no consistency.

Yes. While he is sometimes streaky he usually plays very well and makes a big impact. For example this years playoff his numbers were very high and he led the team. Stack is a role player, his veteran presence in the locker room is very important and his ability to play starter minutes and contribute just as much is vital. He has been a superstar for a long time and is a good person to lead the Dallas bench and I would definitely resign him!

Yeah, altho hed do better wit another team. Wen he comes on he gets upto 30pts, if he was with a weaker team hed be runing da show 4 dat team.
