I am starting a business. i got a barcode label software.. But i donno which cod is the most common.. pls guide me...

If you just want to label stuff with their unique ID, use Code 39 (i.e. Code 3 of 9). That's the most common and easiest to make. You can even find fonts that'll print that way.

What would you use that barcode for ?

For example :
- If you use your barcode for your internal (no 3rd party external reading) storage and invetarizing (sp?) then any code could do.
- If your business involve some kind of selling and buying things frequently then I would strongly recommend a barcode that's compatible with your delivery service of choice. You might want to check your local post office for help. IIRC, post office use postnet (sp?)

Sorry, I couldn't give you a more specific answer. I would recommend the barcode as in my second example (delivery service).
