never happened to me. My friend opened the door completely naked just to freak a couple of Mormons out one time, though...

It's weird I live very close to a mormon church yet they never come around. Can't remember the last time either JW's or mormons came knocking. But if ANYONE knocks on my door at 6am on a Sunday morning they are in for a bad day

In most parts of the United States, each congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses has a daily "meeting for field service" at either 9:am or 9:30am. They discuss a daily text, review a few points concerning the ministry, assign partners and territories, and then pray for holy spirit. In most places, Witnesses approach their first doors at either 9:30am or 10:am.
The United States branch office of Jehovah's Witnesses recommends that local congregations do not plan to call at homes earlier than 9:am, unless there is a prior appointment. When unhappy householders complain that "Jehovah's Witnesses" call at unreasonable times of the day, the householders should perhaps ask themselves exactly why they believe it must have been genuine Witnesses who knocked or rang the doorbell.

Most Mormon missionaries don't even get out of bed before 6 a.m. I don't think they start proselytizing before 9. And probably not much at all on Sunday, it's a day of rest.

I can't speak for JW's, but Mormon missionaries only proselytise between 9.30 a.m. and 9 p.m, and not on a Sunday since they're at church.

well at 6 a.m. any day I'd be rather upset with whoever came to my door...
my brother likes the open the door holding a knife while shouting to someone inside the house, "I'll be back to finish the ritual in a minute, just let me see who's at the damn door first"...or something to that affect. My brother's the mess with people's heads type.

They haven't ever paid a visit on Sundays.
It doesn't really matter because we are up before that and breakfast is done. I would invite them in and invite them to discuss their false prophecies.
