No, science does not say that the earth came from the sun. Science says that the sun and all the planets in our solar system condensed, due to gravitation, from a cloud of elements, mostly hydrogen, which were floating through space. The heavier elements were created when other, older stars exploded at the end of their lives.

The accretion theory of the matter gradually accumulating by gravitation/mutual attraction is the accepted theory. Why could not have God used this method the create? The Bible does not state how it was done, the command was given and the deed done. How and how long it took was and is in the hands and mind of the Creator.

agree with second answerer. God created science. something really big and smart out there had to come up with this perfect scientific cycle. Einstein said it himself and he was a genius.
