This hasn't happened to me personally. I did know a couple where the woman was gigantically tall and very unattractive physically while he was a cutie pie. They were a beautiful couple because despite her looks she was one of the nicest people I've ever met. Her husband was completely devoted to her and never once did I see his eye stray from his wife. He loved her for her soul and it was the most beautiful relationship I have ever encountered. That's what I want!!!!

Yeah--or, not so much make fun of, but
hand me the usual, "Why her?"
What irony! One of a few times which stick
was when one of my otherwise dreamtypes
asked me why I was with a then-serious girlfriend,
and she finished her own sentence to rub-in
the whole thing with, "...oh, her personality?"
And proceeded to give me blatantly subtle
come-ons everytime we were in company.
Or when THEY come to you with a letter and
almost a crying face and the whole thing
is that they think you would never be
interested. And you just want to grab and
hold her for a week.
