People are smart in different ways. I don't believe that there is "one" smartest person on the planet.
I would think that Stephen Hawkins is one of many super-intelligent people.
We could all learn from people like that.

Marilyn Vos Savant officially but she has scored differently in different tests ,the scores being 167+, 186, 218, 228, and 230.
Stephen hawking has a very high iq also but different sources say different just like marilyn.
I guess the secret service's of the western nations have secret information on certain people who have even greater intelligence because it would be just a waste otherwise.
Anyway iq is just a fancy way of saying, very good bullshitter.
They love using fantasy numbers to explain their concepts and due to their huge egos that parallel that large iq, they cant tell the difference between their fantasy and the truth.
We arent smart enough to disprove them though because they cover their poo stains with difficult 'roses'.
Idont think its einstein as he was reported to be an iq of only 160.

having a high IQ doesn't mean your smart already. having a high IQ must be balanced with high EQ too..
