I am confused by your question. Is "ir" the word that you are asking about, or is it just a mis-spelled word or a typo? If "ir" is the word in question, what are you really trying to spell? Please provide a definition or more information.

I couldn't care less. But YOU should. People who spell badly present themselves to the world as uncaring and uneducated. In addition, bad spelling can often confuse the reader as in your question above. This is a tough world we live in and a person who spells badly shows that he lacks the persistence and perhaps even intelligence to keep up with the constant changes he'll encounter throughout his lifetime.

Incorrect spelling really pisses me off, especially when computers allow for "spell check." Then there are the capitalization issues! What pisses me off even more is the over-abundant use of abbreviations!
