No, I only give them to people's answers I thought were of any merit. And always pick a best one too. I do notice sometimes when I answer a question everyone gets a thumbs up. Sometimes when I carouse through back answers I gave I have to laugh at some of the thumbs up I get. Sometimes when I am just when I am searching through new or old answers for something I will give a thumbs up to something I think worthwhile. I only give a thumbs down to a truly offensive answer, mine or not.

Yes, most of the time unless I get lazy. I have a dumb question but what is a troll? Just like computers that give basic BS answers?

I give thumbs up to all the answers that I like, no matter who asked.
And I give stars to most of the questions I answer, ‘cause I answer the questions that I find more interesting.
