The son of Dr Heimlich who invented the famous Heimlich manoeuvre (used on choking people to expel the foreign body), is publicly accusing his father of being a fraud . Why would he do such a thing ?

I recently read a long article on their family feud (forget the magazine, but it was a good story), which is of interest to me because I know the son. Peter genuinely thinks his father's work in several areas isn't helping people. He tried to discredit the work involved privately, but his role recently came into the public eye.
Needless to say, it's a sad, sad story without a happy ending in site.

dr heimlich thinks malaria cures aids and the heimlich manuever can savve drowning victims. young heimlich probably didn't get everything he wanted as a teen.
