How many people here think theres a chance Canada could become part of the US sometime in the future?

Do you really believe Canadians are a third world country and we are desperate to belong to USA ...we have our own high standard of living ....you are mistaking us with Mexico !

We love our lifestyle !! I've heard this question before so many times why do you think Canadians need to be Americans ...you have a third world country who would love to be adopted by you guys to build their country up !!

we never like to be part of a bunch Yanks we are better and you Americana's need us Canada it is rich on resource is the largest country in the world in territory we have the bast relationship with all the world and no one hate US as the Americans so you can stay alone

I've been working in Canada for the last 2 years, not seen any indications of such, or any show of willingness on their part to join us.

A good chance and Mexico to.
NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) is the first step in the formation of NAU (North American Union).
It will make all 3 nations 1 trading block to compete with the E.U.
Workers will be moved around as needed to fill labor shortages.
It is coming and they say it can't be stopped.

It will happen! Throughout the history Canada and U.S. were as one state and have almost the same cultural and economy markings!. May North American Union finally connect every american on the continent!

They are working to erase the border as we speak -
I hope Canada is Canada until I die at least - hopefully longer than my life span -
That said it seems unlikely and I think that is sad

not gonna happen. why would Canada even want to join our disfunctional family. they aren't perfect by any means, but they don't want to deal with our mess.
