And I sold it very cheap. I sold the Jeep for 1100 dollars. I had the truck for about 6 months and had it checked by a mechanic and he said it would eventually need a gear box ( 150 dollars used) and that it needed brakes and a tie rod end. I had the last two things done and drove the car around for a few months. It is a v-8 and the ac works and the truck has never been wrecked at all as all the panels are factory paint. The mechanic said it was good to go. I wanted 1800 for it but since he knew my buddy, I took 1100. The guy has had it for 3 months or so and my buddy calls me today and tells me that the axles are worn out and the guy has replaced them twice. My buddy thinks I am responsible for the problem. He says his buddy is pissed and wants to kill me and some nonsense. I had NO IDEA that there was anything wrong with Jeep. The guys mechanic(jeep guy)says someone had to hit a curb real hard to damage stuff. I think they expect me to refund money and Idont think I should.thoughts?

if it was 30 days i would refund the money, but for 3months for a 93 jeep, I wouldn't do it. He should have had the Jeep checked out when he bought it especially considering the age of the vehicle. How do you know he didn't do the damage to the vehicle and he doesn't ant to pay to have it fixed. Screw him, keep the money and get a new friend. For his friend that is threatening you introduce him to my favorite friends Smith and Wesson.
