I mean the guy certainly has a firm grasp on what the constitution is supposed to uphold. But is it enough for a man to know what this country is base upon to become it's leader, or is the Commander in Chief intitled to interpretation?

Let me also suggest a film that you can watch here http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1656880303867390173&q=Freedom+To+Fascism which has nothing to do with my question but is certainly intresting and informitive nontheless. This film, or documentary, is regarding the IRS mostly and the Federal Reserve Bank.

Feel free to jump off topic here and rant. I'm not looking for people to agree with me (for 10 lousy points) for the sake of it, I'm hoping for ideas and ideals.

Hey, at least from you standpoint "he has a firm grasp on what the constitution is supposed to uphold" currently (as well as the recent past) we have had leaders who haven't had a clue about the constitution. So I suppose he is as qualified as anyone. Am I the only person who doesn't give a hoot if a person has "enough experience" to become president. As a matter of fact I would much prefer an individual that has a good grasp on the reality of things, than a career politicians. GREAT QUESTION

I love Ron Paul as a candidate. He's brutally honest, genuine, and actually cares about the people's rights. That's more than anyone can say about any of the other candidates. I love his solution for the abortion thing. He wants to allow the states to choose for themselves. I say that is awesome; he actually believes in states' rights! All the other Republicans are too liberal with their foreign policies, and all the Democrats will socialize medicine. Ron Paul is really the only candidate I can respect.

Everyone has a choice to vote for the one they believe in. Let's stop the war between the Dems and Repubs. We are Americans because we have free choices. Let's respect each other.

He is a good man but doesn't stand a chance of being Nominated by the Repulicans.
He is not cast in their mold.
John McCain stands a greater chance.
