this guide said "during swarm 40% chance" which i have no idea what that means. and also said "poke radar 22%" which i assume means you use your poke radar but i tried for an hour and didn't get even an appearnce of snorunt and i was in the place it told me to be. can you guys give me any help? btw i want to catch this particular pokemon to get magnezone,mamoswine,and froslass.

magnemite u can catch in a swarm in fuego ironworks
u can check what swarm is available rite now at the sandgem city in dawn/lucas's house (talk to the little girl) but usually the specific swarm yer waiting for will be rare so i'd rather transfer from the previous gen.
poke radar... go to route 216 or 217 or lake acuity surroundings and keep using pokeradar (snorunt)
remember, it's rare (22%... right... plz... change the website that u go to, it's freeking made up)
swinub is also a swarm, i should know, i had its swarm before

Swarm means that bunch of pokemons of the same type are in a particular route. Go to Lucas/Dawn's sister and she will tell you that a "....... swarm is on route ...." so you have to check everyday to see your desired swarm. Magnemite swarm will be located on Fuego Iron works.
I have no tips on appearance rate of snorunt, just keep using the pokeradar and you will see eventually.
