He was a "freedom fighter" who was Castro's partner in the overthrow of Batista. He wanted the Cuban people to be free. When he refused to go along with Castro becoming the dictator, Castro had him killed. If he had lived Cuba would be a free country today.

Che was Fidel's right hand man during the Cuban revolution...
Although he is idolized today by the left the truth is he and Fidel did not see the same future...if he has not been killed
Fidel would have found a way to kill him as Che's popularity over shadowed Castro's...

He was a genocidal, masochistic, narcissist who killed/had killed/orchestrated the murder of people on three continents.
It really is sad when you see all the sheeple who are so horribly wrong about Guevara. His leadership of the tribals to rape and murder the Congolese settlers and his attempts to bring communist control to the region are oft overlooked and those who ignore history turn a blind eye to these atrocity's.
I still think it is funny that the same people who support groups like Amnesty International find Ernesto to be a heroic figure. The only reason he survived to escape from the Congo was "Mad Mike" Hoare was asked by the US to not kill him, just run him off. Contrary to his followers belief the last thing anyone in the US wanted was to make him a martyr. After all we all knew that Castro would get him eventually. I still believe he did get him in the end but I won't argue that here.

Che Guevara was a outstanding revolutionist. He is a perfect blend of ideologies and actions. He still prevails in the hearts of young ignited minds and icon of a revolution. He is a great human to be remembered always. We love Che Guevara. Let us abide by his ideals and attitudes.

He was a murderous thug who had a completely warped sense of what "exploitation" means. Entrepreneurs who employ workers on mutually agreed upon terms and wisely accumulate capital to invest in ways that result in greater overall productivity in a society should be viewed as heroes, not villains. The "worker's paradise" Che and his fellow communists envisioned has proven itself to be a system that can only trap its citizens in a struggle for mere survival.
