No rational explanation exists but there are some wild theories regarding all elements of your question. Amazingly however over 1/2 of the alledged terrorists have been seen still alive. The Anthrax mailings stopped when GW got his war, and finding Osama would cause more Americans to demand the war to end. Maybe they are afraid Osama will pass a lie detector test and be proven innocent of 9/11.

Well done at least at exposing the massive ignorance of many of the respondents to your question about the level of credible 'evidence' there is to link the alleged hijackers to the 9/11attacks - as a matter of fact there is none -no footage of them boarding the (hijacked) planes, no name on the original passenger lists, They were named but nobody other than a mentally ill man has even been tried in relation to 9/11.
BTW to those who think OBL has claimed responsibility: on what grounds do you hold that belief? - because somebody on TV showed you some grainy footage allegedly of him and said so perhaps? wow --what convincing evidence that is!
What Osama and the anthrax attackers DO have in common however is the fact it seems that neither party was ever really pursued in earnest -- wonder why!

Alleged terrorists were not pinpointed in flash. Osama was. That's because CIA was aware that Osama was planning something. They knew Osama had something big in plan, but didn't know anything specific. So when 9/11 hit everybody in CIA said 'it's Osama.'
Osama's al Qaeda have vast network around the world. He doesn't go around bombing crap. He remain well hidden although many believe we almost got him at Afghan.
And he isn't only criminal on lose. Not all criminals are captured. Not all crimes go fully solved.
Unless you think we had 100% crime solving rate in the world.
They still haven't figured out why I didn't get my newspaper the other day. May be its gov trying to keep me dark about their plot to kill me.

It's pretty easy to find things out when you have a map to go by. i.e. terrorist watch list.
The anthrax attacks were probably committed by some US national with an ax to grind against the government.
I'm shocked that Osama hasn't been found or tracked down yet with the bounty on his head. I could really use the money right now with economy and the price of gas so far out of whack.

Meow Mix said it best.
I wish people who were trying to convince people of 9/11 having occurred in a way other than the official story would spend their time trying to convince others of the inaccuracies of the physics and other things that appear very fishy, as opposed to trying logic to prove the government did it.
Try to show people WHY you think 9/11 was an inside job, THEN go about trying to figure out who did it.

Osama is thousands of miles away. The 9/11 terrorists were on the planes. That made them much easier to identify. The anthrax mailers struck & vanished making them harder to find. What is your point?

The 9/11 terrorists came here in the 90's,so they had plenty of time to set up their plans. Too bad they weren't caught back then.

There's the video of them getting on jets and then the ability to check their faces on computer.Whereas Osama is hiding in a cave somewhere in the Himalayas.

The terrorists on the planes left a very deliberate trail for us to follow -- after the catastrophe, that is. Osama bin Laden's been considerably more cautious.

Ummm, they were dead when the planes hit the ground? Kind of hard to run away.
Osama wasn't even in the country when the attack was made.
Or do you mean that they figured out who they are?
They had plane records of the people who went on the plane, did a more intense background check of each of the people, compared it to past intelligence, tracked what hotels they were staying in, questioned people they had associated with, and figured out who they were.
Osama was identified when he took full credit for the attack and complimented his men for their sacrifice.
Alleged? You calling Osama a liar?
