you need to go see your gynecologist. Pelvic pain during sex (dyspareunia is the fancy word for it) can be caused by multiple things, including infection (Pelvic Inflammatory Disease), endometriosis, or even masses such as dermoid cysts or other tumors. It's really something you should get checked out. I assume you're due for a checkup anyway since it's been a year since your surgery.

you might have an adhesion from your surgery. I am being evaluated for pelvic pain during sex. I had a c-section years ago. My doc thinks I have adhesions, adhesions are scar tissue that forms as a result of surgery. see your doc to make sure you don't have another cyst too

may be your partner in excitement is brute with you. Ask him to be cool and make penetration gently. Tell him not to press his body weight on you. Consult your doctor to ensure about complications.

Could be a number of things such as infection and endometriosis (have had to deal with both of these) to a condition that affects your bladder called Interstitial Cystitis (have friends who have this).

The only way to know for sure is to have this evaluated by your dr to see what they think is going on.
