NO! Bill Russel is the Celtic Legend from the 60's who one nine NBA titles. Many consider him the best big man of all time. Almost everyone considers him the best defensive baller ever.

the other Russel was a serviceable 2-guard who played with John Stockton and Karl Malone. Byron (or is it Bryon?) Russel is most famous for being abused by Michael Jordan in the '98 NBA finals. Particularly on Jordan's game winning shot in game 6. (although Jordan was certainly guilty of giving Bryon a little push).

are you kidding? Bill Russell played for the Celtics from 1957 to 1969. Byron didn't enter the league until 1994, Bill would've been 60 years old then.
