elements are pure substances that cannot be separated into simpler substances by physical or chemical means. a compounds is a substance consisting of two or more elements chemically combined. a mixture is a combination of substances or elements, physically combined.

Elements, Chemical, substances that cannot be decomposed or broken into more elementary substances by ordinary chemical means. Elements were at one time believed to be the fundamental substances but are now known to consist of a number of different elementary particles. More than 100 chemical elements are known to exist in the universe, although several of these, the so-called transuranium elements, have not been found in nature, and can only be produced artificially.
A substance made up of molecules that include two or more different chemical elements is called a molecular compound. An example of a molecular compound is water. Water is made of molecules that contain two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom.
chemistry substance formed without chemical reaction: a substance consisting of two or more substances that have been combined without chemical bonding taking place is called a mixture

An element is matter that can not be reduced to a simpler material by ordinary chemical means.
A compound is a molecule made up of two or more elements that can be reduced to individual elements by ordinary chemical reactions.
A Mixture is a heterogeneous collection of two or more non reacted elements or compounds that can be separated by ordinary physical means like distillation for example

An chemical element is any member of the periodic chart, like sodium.
A compound is a new material formed by the bonding of two or more elements, like sodium and chlorine forming sodium chloride (salt).
Sodium chloride isn't sodium and it's not chlorine, it's sodium chloride.
Add water and you get a mixture of salt (a compound) and water (a compound).
Think of a mixture this way - mixing yellow beads and blue beads does not make green beads.

Element is a substance that cannot be separated into simpler substances by chemical means. Compound is a substance composed of two or more elements united chemically in definite proportions. Mixture is a combination of two or more substances in which each substance retains its own chemical identity.

An element is something of it's own- like oxygen is oxygen ONLY.
A compound is something together that is capable of being seperated- for example saltwater....if you boil it the salt will remain as the water evaporates (so it can be taken apart again)
and a mixture is at least two elements that become a new element and cannot be seperated afterwards.

an element is matter that is made using only one kind of atom. for example hydrogen. only one kind of atom is used in making it.
a compound is matter made by chemicaly combining multiple elements. for example water. it is created by combining 2 hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom. this combination is called a molecule
and a mixture is what you get when you combine two non solids and they mix with no chemical bonding. example. mixing sugar or salt into water. eventually the sugar or salt will sink to the bottom if you dont keep mixing it.

To design a particle or an energy. You know...A meaningful object or something important.Making small sets and groups (elements) and compacting and releasing energies(like compounds and such) which mixes up everything to equal up to something better of more important.A combination.Like the sun or water.Everything you could possible create or what's naturally created is the meaning of those 3.Don't blame me if what I said is a little corny sounding,I thought of this right off the top.

an element is the origional atom eg. oxygen O2
compound is a combination of two elements eg. oxygen and Hydrogen H2O H2 + O2= H2O
Mixture is a combination of compounds and elements.
eg. H2SO4 = sulferic acid H2 + S + O2
