Why do so many liberals hate America? Do they prefer the freedoms of the Middle East, China, and Venezuela?

I think they hate America because they like for our country to be the opposite, which is going against all laws of this country, like the ACLU or the ones who want God's name off of everything, or no 'prayers' allowed everywhere. People like that should not even live here in America but have a place of there own like on some deserted island. They would rather side with the enemies who are against us. If they don't like America, then they should leave!

Let me just start by saying I don't particularly care for liberals. Quite frankly they annoy the piss out of me. That being said, I have many liberal friends who I can honestly say do not hate America.

I do, however, believe there are people out there that do. There are people out there who despise everything our country stands for, yet at the same time they "love" our country because they have the right to hate it, as twisted as that may sound. They love freedom, I don't necessarily know that they love America, at least not the way most conservatives do.

I believe the argument mostly comes from the fact that Democrats are constantly trying to change the country to their benefit their beliefs. They are simply not content with it and want to mold it into something else. Conservatives on the other hand wonder what is so bad about the country that we need to keep changing things; they love our country for what it is. I think there are some liberals out there, though, that love their own personal vision of our country and what it could possibly become, but do not necessarily love the country itself. These are the people who hate any and all organized religion, the people who believe America is evil and corrupt.

This is, of course, just my opinion, I could be entirely wrong, but i definitely believe there are people who DO hate our country and certainly the overwhelming majority of those people are liberals. Now do i think "all liberals hate America?" absolutely not, but I don't think you can deny that there is a certain anti-American sentiment among many liberals in the United States.

It's strange, I thought I was liberal several years, turns out I have old conservative values and some liberal values.

I wonder what you mean by freedom? You mean the freedom that has been being stripped after wars since WWII that were supposed to be temporary but turned permanent?

I like our freedoms here. As a female, if I lived in a farm on China, I probably wouldn't have been born. If it were India, same thing. They think of fems as a burden. Middle east, female circumcision and in Saudia Arabia women aren't allowed to drive or they are executed then you also have honor killings in the middle east and if you are raped, it's your fault so your family kills you to restore honor.

Seriously, what kind of a loaded question is this anyway?

I love America and my love of America provokes my patriotism to restore it to America the Great. We don't have to be bullies to have freedom now do we?

Strange but we have people in what is suppose to be a free country claiming that if we question our government, then we are unpatriotic. Make enough noise and you will be put on a watch list and arrested - Lapacek's arrest after asking Guliani's staff a question.

Isn't that the type of government behavior that we claim to be fighting against in other countries? I guess when other countries do it, then its wrong and must be dealt with. But when we do it, then it's okay.

Besides, if you have recalled your history lesson, then you would have remembered that America was founded on protest of established government.

Is this the part where you call our founding fathers unpatriotic?

Liberals do not hate America. Liberals understand there are other countries in the world besides America. You can't survive in the world if you don't have any friends. Eventually, you'll isolate yourself.

Other countries probably couldn't careless whether the US support them or not. They seem to do just fine. They only want to do business with the US but they don't interfere the US policy. Unlike the US, we butt into everyone's business and wonder why people hating us.

Obviously I'm a liberal by answering the question in the following manner. I love this country and have never, nor would I ever even investigate what ever freedoms your referring to. I do hate people that ask these types of questions without giving specific examples for people to respond to. This is just another example of the cart being put in front of the horse. Liberals don't hate America or they would not be trying to make it better! Also, they don't hate "freedom"--they love the fact that they have the freedom to criticize what they see as wrong!

a number of them think of that u.s.'s founding replaced into incorrect. the thought-with regards to the US having slavery, killing the indigenous peoples, and exploiting the components supplies them that concept. they say the form replaced into written with the aid of slave proprietors, yet fail to work out that it now applies to all people inspite of the gang they declare.
